The Rashad Bailey Foundation aims to transform the lives of mothers, youth, and families by providing essential support services. This includes fostering educational opportunities, promoting mental health and well-being, and creating a nurturing community. The foundation seeks to empower individuals with skills, resources, and a strong support network through targeted programs, ultimately enhancing their overall quality of life, contributing to long-term resilience, and eradicating senseless gun violence together.
In 2011 Rashad was tragically killed by gun violence. The Rashad Bailey Foundation was created in his honor to help mothers and families facing the unbearable loss of a child.

We raise awareness and improve prevention strategies, such as demanding our politicians prioritize gun safety legislation through partnership.
